Blue Tit

The Blue Tit is a colourful mix of blue, yellow, white and green and almost any garden with a peanut feeder will attract them.

Blue Tits are resident birds in the UK and they breed in mainly deciduous woodland, especially oak woods. They have adapted to gardens with mature trees or nestboxes can also be found in parkland, hedgerows and conifers.

In winter they form flocks with other tit species and woodland birds and often move into suburban gardens in severe weather.
