Common Gulls
| << | ![]() Despite its name, the Common Gull is not at all common in some inland areas although it is often abundant on the coast.
Common Gulls breed in Scotland and northern England near lakes, lochs, marshes and bogs, on moorland and in coastal areas on islands and cliffs. In winter they can be found on farmland, playing fields, lakes, reservoirs and coasts especially estuaries. Date: 10th June 2007 Location: Tarbet, Sutherland |
