Long-tailed Tit

The Long-tailed Tit is easily recognisable with its distinctive colouring, a tail that is bigger than its body, and undulating flight. They are most usually noticed in small, excitable flocks of about 20 birds as they rove the woods, hedgerows and gardens often with other tit species.

Long-tailed Tits can be seen all year round and throughout the UK except the far north and west of Scotland.
